Horde Review

As with everything WoW, the players want their info fast, even faster than it is already released.  Many people try to search out the upcoming info by peeking into the files on the PTR or by other means which are well over my head.  It seems WoW Insider has uncovered some new evidence though that may have your toes tingling while you await the new upcoming raid in patch 3.3.5 ‘The Assault on the Ruby Sanctum”.  They have also uncovered some awesome images of the new skins that may be introduced in the game soon as well here.

As we have all been speculating and surely has been a topic amongst many vent channels the Ruby Sanctum will open in 3.3.5. We will encounter 4 new bosses General Zarithrian, Baltharus the Warborn, Saviana Ragefire and Halion the Twilight Destroyer.  WoW Insider has now been able to datamine the sound files for each of the bosses within the instance as well as an excerpt from Xerestasza. Below you will find the script so that you can read for yourself and above you will find a video posted on youtube by Oxymoronable of the actual cound files themselves.

The first sound file is from Xerestrasza who has apparently gotten herself entangled inside of a tree while trying to escape the Black Dragonflight after their assult on the Sanctum ordered by Deathwing.  It seems they are after or wish to destroy the eggs kept within, and staged a surprise attack which did not allow for a hasty defense of the Sanctum. Here is what new light Xerestrasza sheds on what is going on.

Help! I am trapped within this tree! I require aid!
Thank you! I could not have held out for much longer. A terrible thing has happened here…
We believe the Sanctum was well fortified. But we were not prepared for the nature of this assault.
The black dragonkin materialized from thin air, and set upon us before we could react.
We did not stand a chance. As my brethren perished around me, I managed to retreat here, and bar the entrance.
They slaughtered us with cold efficiency. But the true focus of their interest seemed to be the eggs kept here, in the Sanctum.
The commander of the forces on the ground here is a cruel brute named Zarithrian. But I fear there are greater powers at work.
In their initial assault, I caught a glimpse of their true leader: a fearsome, full-grown Twilight Dragon.
I know not the extent of their plans, heroes, but I know this: They cannot be allowed to succeed!

This offers up some ideas of what we may expect in the upcoming encounter.  That is not all for you though, sound files from the actual encounters were retrieved as well so you may actually here how you will be taunted in each fight.  Check them out below.

Zarithrian:

Aggro: Alexstrasza has chosen capable allies. A pity that I must end you!
Special: Turn them to ash, minions!
Slay01: You thought you stood a chance?
Slay02: It’s for the best.
Death: Halion! I’m…aah!

Saviana:

Aggro: You will suffer for this intrusion…
Special: Burn in the master’s flame!
Slay01: As it should be!
Slay02: Halion will be pleased…
Death: <screaming>

Baltharus:

Aggro: Ah, the entertainment has arrived…
Yell: Your power wanes, ancient one! Soon, you will join your friends!
Special: Twice the pain and half the fun!
Slay01: Baltharus leaves no survivors!
Slay02: This world has enough heroes!
Death: I…didn’t see that coming…

Halion:

Aggro: Your world teeters on the brink of annihilation. You will all bear witness to the coming of a new age of destruction!
Special01: The heavens burn!
Special02: Beware the shadow!
Spawn01: Meddlesome insects! You’re too late! The Ruby Sanctum is lost.
Slay01: Another hero falls!
